Life at La Paz

Living in Rhythm With Nature and Community

A New Way of Living and Creating

Life at La Paz Farm is not rigid or mechanical—it breathes.

It follows the subtle currents of the land, the seasons, and the collective energy of those who call this place home. Here, each day is an opportunity to engage in meaningful work, deepen into spiritual connection, contribute to the collective, and nurture your personal dreams. La Paz is structured enough to create coherence, and spacious enough to allow authentic emergence.

Weekly Rhythms

Life at La Paz flows around weekly communal touchpoints to maintain connection, clarity, and care:

MOOP Monday Matter Out of Place cleaning and community beautification

Meetings Organizational updates, offers and requests, project sharing

Transparency Circle Bi-weekly emotional witnessing and authentic sharing

Kitchen and Garden Rotations

Light, joyful service tending to the core needs of the farm

These rhythms ensure that while individuals follow their unique path, the greater ecosystem stays vibrant and harmonious.

Seasonal Living: The Tree of Service Model

La Paz operates on a seasonal cycle inspired by nature and the Tree of Service framework.

Each year is divided into Seasons led by Core Leaders, Trunks, or Trained Amendments.

Each Season (typically three months) has:

A guiding theme (examples: Regeneration, Healing, Creation, Harvest)A leadership team to steward the flow

Seasonal projects based on land needs and community dreamsSeasonal ceremonies marking solstices, equinoxes, and natural shifts

Visitors and Amendments weave into the seasonal rhythm—serving, growing, and harvesting their own personal breakthroughs.

Over time, the Seasons themselves will become living traditions, passed down and evolved by each generation of La Paz co-creators.

Integration of Individual and Collective

At La Paz, balance is essential:

Space for Sovereignty: Every individual is supported to maintain their personal practices, creative projects, and inner work.

Structure for Connection: Shared agreements, rhythms, and stewardship practices weave individuals into a healthy whole.

This balance is what allows La Paz to thrive as a sanctuary of personal awakening, relational healing, and planetary regeneration.

A Life Worth Rooting Into

Living at La Paz is not a retreat from life—it is an engagement with life at its most real, beautiful, and challenging. It asks of you:

To bring your full presence.
To offer your gifts.
To tend both your soul and the soil.
To live your dreams into being.

If you are ready for that, La Paz is ready for you.
